In an article published by the Wall Street Journal Professor Trewavas of the Cell and Molecular Institute of Edinburgh University is stating that studies carried against synthetic chemicals are failing in providing the public with the necessary information to make a balanced judgment. If governments ban fire retardants from being put into clothes, furniture, TV sets or airplanes because of the notional objections of WWF, people will all be at a very real risk of death or disfiguring burns
