It is frequently claimed that the manufacture and use of products having high fire resistance comes at a price to the environment. However, an extensive analysis by Scandiaconsultants of fire behavior of sofas having high fire resistance shows that, in fact, they are better for the environment in certain respects than are sofas with poorer fire resistance.
